This fortified shows aromas of chocolate dipped strawberries, some spicy red plums and a savoury aspect with a hint of roasted nuts. The palate is rich and flavoursome with red fruits, Christmas cake and glacé cherries. This is the perfect accompaniment for desert or a selection of cheeses.
Vinification: This fortified wine is made from a Yea Valley Merlot which has had additional distilled grape-based spirit added to it and the sugar level is 50grms/litre.
