Bright aromas of raspberry, red cherry with floral notes of dried rose petals and some forest air notes. The palate sits nicely with plenty of red berry fruits, some mineral ferrous notes and savoury complexity with earthen tannin and a refreshing finish.
Vinification & Elevage: The fruit was partially destemmed and fermented as whole berries, with 15% left as whole bunches. It remained on skins for 14 days before being pressed into French oak barriques (10% new) for malolactic fermentation on lees. After aging in oak for 10 months, it was racked before bottling.

Fruit is sourced from our vineyards in Coldstream and Gruyere with a bonus 10% of the blend coming from a grower’s vineyard in Yarra Junction in the Upper Yarra Valley.
