“…Stone and orchard fruits together with some delicate spice and marine scents. Even better on the palate. There's a gentle creaminess yet the wine is tightly coiled with good inner energy. There's a little orange pith on the long, balanced finish. Good stuff and worth cellaring.”

Tasting Notes:
This Chardonnay speaks clear of its upper Yarra origin. Notes of white florals, citrus blossoms, with some nougat and a hint of struck match. On the palate the wine is rather exotic in its expression; Tahitian limes, ripe pear, wet stone, cinnamon spices and a real saline acid profile. There is nice generosity to the palate and the wine finishes with a sparkle of freshness.
Winemaking Notes:
Hand-picked on the 2nd March
Vinification & Elevage: Fruit was whole bunch pressed directly to French oak barriques (30% new) for primary fermentation. 60% of the blend underwent malolactiv conversion with some occasional lees stirring. 10 months on lees in oak.
