On Saturday nights, Rochford —which has hosted some of the world’s biggest acts—becomes an intimate stage for tomorrow's stars.

We’re excited to be delivering you our LIVE MUSIC @ IV music series, supported by the Victorian Government through the Community Support Fund and Creative Victoria, delivered by Music Victoria.

Come along and enjoy delicious woodfired pizza and pasta dinner overlooking the lake at il Vigneto Pizzeria and you’ll be treated to live music from some of the best original artists from the Yarra Valley and across Melbourne.

I'm an emerging song writer, playing piano and guitar from Healesville in the Yarra Valley. My songs cover the width of the lifespan - from songs about childhood, to being a mother, falling in love and letting go! A mix of folk, country, music and reggae I will bring you into my world for an evening! I have often heard from people who have heard from my music that they were moved, sometimes to tears - such is the power of music to share our human experience.

ARCHER
Archer is a folk musician. A country blues crooner poet. Singing by the Rivers, singing in the nursing homes, singing for the children. He is an author, has written hundreds of songs and spends most days Planting Trees and feeding delicacies to a giant Cow. Archer recently featured in the cult classic documentary "I'm Wanita" and is busy recording an album with producer Michael hohnen (Gurrumul) and composer Erkki Veltheim. A unique and captivating voice.

Dave Diprose and Darryl Thompson have been performing together for an incredible fifty years, cultivating a deep musical chemistry and an innate understanding of each other’s playing. Their music seamlessly weaves together the rich traditions of Bluegrass, Folk, and Singer-Songwriter genres, with distinctive touches of Australiana. Fans often describe it as a captivating blend of Steve Earle, Flatt and Scruggs, and The Dingoes.

Australiana folk singer songwriter Ben Strong spends his days surrounded by kookaburras, cockies, eucalypts and kangaroos in the sticks of Melbourne. He loves music, words, and connecting with his fellow humans. His debut EP will be out early 2025 and first official release "Searching for the Sun" was released on September 24.

CORN NUT CREEK
Corn Nut Creek (USA/AU) are storytellers with moving songs that weave traditions of Appalachian music with a unique chamber-folk style. With lush harmonies, intricate clawhammer banjo playing and a lilting fiddle, their songs capture the significance of sisterhood as well as deep connections with the natural world. From New York and Melbourne, the duo met in Hong Kong over ten years ago and became inseparable spirit sisters in friendship and song. They are currently working on a new album, expected to release in 2025.

MICHAEL ARVANITAKIS
Michael Arvanitakis is a multi-instrumentalist crossing many genres, including reggae, jazz, rock and world music. After many years playing in countless bands, he is emerging as a promising singer/songwriter with captivating lyrics and richly textured recordings.

Michael studied music (improvisation) at VCA, and has studied the sitar with masters in Varanasi, India. Recording and performing credits include Gotye, The Teskey Brothers, Jeff Lang, Liz Stringer, Dallas Frasca and was a long-term member of the Jed Rowe Band and The Anecdote.

Sadie Mustoe, a contemporary pop-indie-folk storyteller delivers visceral, imaginative lyricism combined with twisting melodies that immerse audiences in the world of a Melbourne-based young adult. The Queenscliff Music Festival’s Foot-in-the-Door 2022 winner creates something organic that is simultaneously electric and thought-provoking.

Having just released her latest single “Power in This World”, sharing the recording process with her over 31K TikTok followers, she is celebrating the release of her second single of the year, “I Find You Interesting”. In the words of Deborah Conway, Sadie Mustoe’s music is “a joyously infectious slice of pop that will make you smile.”

Sam Berry is a Guitarist, Singer & Music Teacher from the Yarra Valley with 15 years of experience playing solo, in Duos & Bands around Melbourne.

SZARA FOX & ANDREW DARLING
Szara Fox is an exotic Dutch songstress, whose utterly unique songwriting style is infused with Flamenco and Balkan Gypsy music. With a powerful, compelling voice and driving guitar style, Szara weaves an elemental sensuality through uptempo tales of travel, love, freedom and the mystical present in the everyday. Szara Fox has honed her craft over a 14-year period, performing throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe, captivating audiences with her mix of original compositions and traditional Gypsy folk songs.

Accompanying Szara is her musical soulmate, trumpet player Andrew Darling, whose impassioned, evocative and fire-thrown playing weaves rich melodic lines and fiery improvisations throughout the music. Andrew is a seasoned musician of 35 years’ experience, having performed with Australian music icons such as Things of Stone and Wood, Dan Kelly and Gareth Liddiard (The Drones).
