Tasting Notes:
This is a super vibrant Cabernet Franc, ripe raspberries, rose petal florals with some rosemary too. There is an inherent earthy character with some pencil box and dried herb spices. On the palate it's loaded with rich red fruits, raspberries again as well as boysenberries. The tannins are silky with a nice burr of mineral quality coming from the wine's 40+ year old vine source from our winery Hill Rd Vineyard.
Winemaking Notes:
Picked on the 26th of March
Vinification & Elevage: Fruit was fully destemmed 100% whole berries. A cold short cold soak prior to fermentation and on skins for 14 days. The wine was pressed to seasoned French oak barriques for malolactic conversion on lees and in oak for 10 months. 230 dozen produced.

2023 was a vintage where a wet spring provided challenges, yet through hard work and perseverance we enjoyed a mild and kind harvest period that has produced wines of vibrancy and finesse.
