Aromas of grapefruit, yellow nectarine, marine scents with salted white almond and macadamia. There is a umami note there too which adds interest.
The palate has lots of energy with flavours of citrus (grapefruit) and fresh cut apple, combined with salt-rim margarita. The chalky phenolic is a highlight, the acidity is alive and really carries the flavours well; its generous and fresh at once.
Picked on February 16th, 2024.
Vinification & Elevage: The fruit was crushed and destemmed, then pressed into French oak barriques (20% new) for fermentation on lees without malolactic conversion. It aged in oak for 9 months before racking and bottling, with a total production of 200 dozen.

A bright green gold. Aromas of stone fruits, yuzu, quince and subtle spice. This is both mouth-filling and finely tuned, finishing grapefruit-pithy and long. A harmonious wine destined to age well over the next four to six years.
