Aromas of five spice, dried rose and sage with raspberry and red forest fruits. There’s a stoney flinty edge with some subtle carbonic notes. The palate is loaded with red berry compote; raspberry and little strawberries. The fruit is expansive and rolls with the pumice like tannins, nicely finishing long with fresh and vibrant acidity. A great vintage for our Estate Pinot in 2025.
Vinification & Elevage: This Pinot Noir was fermented as whole berries, with 15% as whole bunches using clones 114, 115, MV6, 667, Pommard and Abel. The wine was then matured in French oak barriques (10% new) for nine months on lees before blending and bottling.
