A very floral nose of dried rose, violet, ripe raspberry and purple fruits with bay leaf and cassis. The palate has great energy with intense forest berry and blackboard, dried fennel and bright acidity, leaving a very long impression.

Inspired by the traditional blends of Bordeaux’s ‘Left Bank,’ where Cabernet Sauvignon is the predominant variety, we celebrate our interpretation of this style in the Yarra Valley. This wine is a blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, and 1% Cabernet Franc.

The fruit was destemmed as whole berries and fermented on skins for 14 days in open-top vats. It was then pressed into French oak (10% new) for malolactic conversion, spending 10 months in oak before bottling.
