“An elegant and refined Chardonnay with concentration and minerality as bywords. The wine opens with sugared almond, peach, green apple and lemon curd aromas all lightly dusted with flinty minerality and puffs of cinnamon spice. The palate a similar affair, rollicking in its freshness but likewise charismatic in saline and more flinty mineral elements. Persistent, poised and precise are good words. The wine excellent.”

Tasting Notes:
2023 was a super low yielding year and this Chardonnay is speaking clearly of a little added power as a result. Orchard fruits of white peach and nectarine, grapefruit skin, white florals and hallmark struck match and flint on the nose. The palate has wonderful depth and vibrancy. The stone fruits are all here in the juicy and tight structure. There’s an appealing grip and lingering texture reminiscent of river pebbles.
