94 Points - The Wine Front 2024
“…White nectarine, even hinting at fresh apricot, slight struck match, some spice, sushi seaweed, or so I reckon, with a flicker of cool mint and lime rind. It’s a tight and saline wine, green olive and citrus, plenty of grapefruity acidity, but there’s also a subtle viscous creamy gloss to it, and some nutty flavours too. It’s also fine and flinty, almost chalky in texture, with a zippy lemony finish of fine length. As a style guide only, there’s quite a lot of Chablis-like character to this wine.”
- Gary Walsh, The Wine Front

'Terre' which translates from French to 'Earth' reflects the contribution of these unique soils to this wine.
Tasting Notes: The wine opens with white peach, a hint of cumquat, oyster shells and other beach fossils, there's umami too. The palate features zesty preserved lemon, river pebbles and margarita salt! There's a real hit of mineral energy here, it crackles with it, the length of the wine is really something!
