Tasting Notes:
This Pinot really 'pops' from the glass with red cherry, raspberry and the fruits. There's a hint of stone and dried herb in the background, lending complexity. The palate is joyous - ripe red fruits and a touch of cola add to the sense of vitality in this wildly accessible Pinot. A genuine bargain!
Winemaking Notes:
Fruit is fully destemmed as 100% whole berries. Fermented on skins for 2 weeks. The wine is then pressed to oak for maturation prior to bottling.
Viticultural Notes:
Fruit is sourced from two Yarra Valley vineyards; one in Gruyere, the other in Dixons Creek Both vineyards feature the Pinot Noir clone MV6 in this blend.
