Countdown is the longest-running music show in Australian television history. Created by Ian “Molly” Meldrum and visionary ABC-TV producers, Countdown aired from 1974 to 1987, launching the careers of countless international superstars including Blondie, ABBA, Cyndi Lauper and many more.

Now, the timeless hits of a generation return to the spotlight in The Countdown Years – a high-energy 2-hour live concert experience celebrating the music, the mayhem, and the magic of the Countdown era.
