Tasting Notes:
Long and complex, Marginally sweet but savoury with deep musky, floral aromas of lychees, pear,cinnamon and ginger. The palate has nutty, creamy, baklava-like spices with a tight finish.
Winemaking Notes:
Fruit sourced from The King Valley. Hand picked February and March. Crushed, pressed with full solids, Natural fermentation on lees.Stainless steel elevage for 6 months.
Viticultural Notes:
2018 was an excellent harvest in the King Valley giving above average yields and excellent fruit quality. Dry sunny conditions with cool overnight temperatures provided good natural acidity and concentrated wines at lower alcohol levels.
