Tasting Notes:
Aromas of cherries, clove spices, blueberries and dried flowers. The palate is generous, plenty of cherry and blue fruits, a plush feel with gentle tannins. Such a great vintage for Yarra Cabernet in 2022!
Winemaking Notes:
Vinification & Elevage: Fruit was destemmed as whole berries and fermented on skins for 14 days. Pressed to seasoned French oak for malolactic conversion, spending
11 months in oak prior to bottling.
Viticultural Notes:
2022 will be remembered for the tiniest yields in a decade resulting from poor flowering conditions this part of Victoria. The quality of the resultant wines of this vintage however are outstanding with both concentration and finesse.
